Top 5 Sports Apps Performance in Greece, Q2 2022

During the second quarter of 2022, the top five sports apps in Greece demonstrated varied performance across downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at how each app fared.

Soccer Superstar saw a mixed quarter. Weekly downloads peaked at approximately 6.6K in mid-April, while weekly active users increased from around 30.8K to 38.3K by early June. Revenue remained minimal, with the highest weekly revenue reaching about $7 in early June.

8 Ball Pool experienced a steady decline in both downloads and active users. Downloads started at 7.7K in late March and dropped to about 4.7K by the end of June. Active users followed a similar trend, decreasing from around 76K to 64K. The app's weekly revenue also saw a gradual decline, starting at approximately $7.5K and ending at about $4.2K.

EA SPORTS FC™ Mobile Soccer had a positive quarter overall. Downloads fluctuated but reached a high of about 6.3K in late May. Active users grew from approximately 33.9K to 37.2K by the end of the quarter. Revenue peaked at around $8.9K in early May, showcasing strong financial performance.

Madfut 22 showed consistent growth in downloads and active users. Downloads rose from around 2.4K in late March to approximately 4.4K by the end of June. Active users also increased steadily, starting at about 24.1K and reaching 35.5K. Despite this growth, the app did not generate any reported revenue during this period.

Lastly, adidas: Shop Shoes & Clothing had a fluctuating quarter. Downloads peaked at around 4.8K in mid-April but dropped to about 1.7K by the end of June. Active users started at approximately 35.2K and ended at around 28.8K. No revenue data was reported for this app during the quarter.
